Written for the BBC Singers and the Scottish cellist Robin Michael, the programme also features the work of the iconic composer John Tavener, and his 1995 composition for choir and cello, 'Svyati' alongside arguably his most famous and iconic work 'Song for Athene'. The BBC Singers also perform Judith Weir's 'O Mercy Divine', written for the world-famous choir of King's College Cambridge.
