About this event

Mahler's First Symphony begins almost in silence, gradually building into a huge musical journey inspired by the natural world. With Principal Guest Conductor Karina Canellakis on the podium, it's a chance to experience one of the most exciting and colourful symphonies ever written.

And imagine the chemistry, too, when she joins pianist Alice Sara Ott in Beethoven’s Fourth Piano Concerto. Some say that it’s his greatest. We just know that whenever Ott performs, the music seems to come alive. Join us, and hear for yourself.

*Karina Canellakis’s position with the LPO is generously supported by Richard Buxton.
