About this event
One critic called Renée Fleming’s 2022 performance with the LPO ‘unforgettable’, and her rich, radiant soprano continues to make her one of today’s most celebrated singers. The LPO is proud to welcome her back for this concert with distinguished American baritone Lucas Meachem. They perform The Brightness of Light by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Kevin Puts, inspired by the letters between artist Georgia O’Keeffe and photographer Alfred Stieglitz. Exploring love, art and human connection, the work leads into another great musical message from the New World: Dvořák’s much-loved Ninth Symphony.
