About this event

Swedish clarinettist Martin Fröst is one of today's most inventive performers, and in this concert he gives the first performance of Jacob Mühlrad's new clarinet concerto – a reflective work inspired by Jewish spirituality.

Conductor Anja Bihlmaier also leads Andrea Tarrodi's vibrant musical portrait of birdlife and Sibelius's First Symphony, a sweeping work whose powerful orchestral sound evokes the forests, lakes and wide-open landscapes of Finland.

This ticket includes free entry into this evening’s After Dark: Martin & Matilda Fröst.

Please note venue and start time.
